JDH successfully delivered a critical wireless infrastructure project that expanded a nationwide carrier's coverage along the I-70 corridor, portions of the airport area, and the surrounding Plainfield community. Despite persistent weather, equipment delays, and site constraints, the team completed the installation safely, ahead of schedule, and to a high-quality standard that met performance expectations. The project involved relocating service from a monopole two miles away to a self-support tower in Plainfield, Indiana, selected for improved coverage and cost efficiency. JDH was chosen due to proximity to the site and a strong working relationship with the nationwide carrier, allowing efficient logistics and execution. Crews overcame significant challenges including daily rain, muddy and restricted access, limited workspace, and tight rigging clearances while maintaining strict safety standards. Completing the project ahead of the deadline positioned JDH to secure numerous additional new site builds and participate in the decommissioning of the previous site, further expanding our role as a trusted partner.
