Health & Safety
Every JDH Employee Is Empowered to Stop Work.
The foundational belief behind every safety effort at JDH Infrastructure Group is simple: no one should get hurt at work or at home. JDH manages safety in a way that never allows the physics of an accident to even begin.
Our motto: PUT SAFETY INTO ACTION DAILY.
Safety Culture
At JDH, safety isn't a department — it's a shared responsibility that starts on day one and never stops.
Every new employee goes through JDH Safety Orientation, where we cover our full safety program with specific emphasis on role-based exposures. Stop Work Authority is introduced immediately. Every employee receives a SWA card and a hard hat sticker — a daily reminder that stopping work to ask a question is not just allowed, it's expected. There is no fear of retribution for raising a concern.
We hold weekly safety meetings with our field employees and management teams, giving us a direct channel for refresher training and addressing company and industry concerns. Quarterly all-employee safety meetings bring administrative and field staff together to blur the line between the two — because safety buy-in only works when everyone's at the table.
Our Good Catch Safety Incentive Program directly rewards employees who identify, report, and address safety concerns on site before they become incidents. Near-misses caught early aren't failures — they're exactly what this program is designed to surface.
In 2025, JDH modernized our safety program by integrating SiteDocs, an online platform for safety reports, forms, audits, and follow-up. Our team members can report injuries, incidents, near-misses, and good catches quickly and easily — and leadership can track, audit, and respond efficiently.
We also maintain an open-door policy on every safety concern. Period.

Our Record
2025 — Recordable Injury Free.
That's not luck. It's the result of a culture where every person on every crew is accountable to the people working next to them — and where "stop work" is never a last resort.
