American Tower Nebraska Build

Our Impact
JDH successfully completed a large-scale turnkey tower construction program for American Tower, delivering 17 new cell tower sites across Nebraska within a compressed four-month schedule. By coordinating multiple crews, in-house drilling operations, and material logistics across the state, the project was completed safely, efficiently, and without quality issues. This project highlights our ability to manage multi-site wireless infrastructure builds at scale while maintaining strong operational coordination and schedule performance.

Additional Project Information
The American Tower Nebraska Build involved construction of 17 new wireless tower sites stretching from Omaha to Ainsworth, Nebraska. The scope included every phase of development, from early civil work and drilled foundations through tower erection and final site restoration. Due to the aggressive timeline, multiple crews operated simultaneously across the state, with four active civil crews building separate sites while drilling and tower stacking operations progressed in parallel.
Managing manpower, equipment, and material deliveries across numerous active jobsites required detailed planning and constant coordination. JDH assembled a dedicated operations team that included project managers, a construction manager, civil crews, and an in-house vertical drilling crew to keep foundations and schedules moving. Material deliveries and tower stacking schedules were carefully aligned to avoid delays and maintain momentum between phases.
The project was completed on schedule with zero safety incidents and no quality issues during closeout. The success of the Nebraska Build demonstrated JDH’s ability to execute complex, large-scale wireless infrastructure projects while maintaining the safety, communication, and coordination required to keep multiple crews operating efficiently across a wide geographic area.
