Additional Project Information
This project involved engineering design and support for a new fiber build serving a data center in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The work required coordination across multiple stakeholders, including local jurisdictions, the Army Corps of Engineers, utility providers, private property owners, and data center teams. The route presented challenges with narrow and congested right-of-way, rocky terrain, and evolving project requirements.
JDH conducted multiple site visits to verify conditions in the field and worked closely with all parties to address concerns, including environmental considerations related to nearby waterways. Ongoing communication with the customer and construction teams helped keep the project aligned as conditions changed. Through careful planning and coordination, the fiber route was successfully delivered on schedule, supporting the data center’s operational timeline while strengthening relationships with both the client and local agencies.
