Additional Project Information
This project involved building a new communications tower at a midwest REMC’s new office and re-routing their entire network so all substations communicate back to this central location. JDH handled the project from start to finish, beginning with geotechnical drilling and working alongside Rohn on the tower design to ensure the structure met site and system requirements.
The main challenge was working through older, existing equipment that was not suited for the new setup. Our team coordinated the necessary upgrades and installed new tower equipment to support a smooth transition. Once complete, the system was fully operational with no issues, giving a midwest REMC a more reliable network and a solid foundation for future expansion.
